This is a video created by me with materials from the Shenandoah National Park Archives. Whitey Grove was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corp during the creation of the park. He was the CCC representative at the institution of the Americorp program and served during World War II using the skills he learnedat the Shenandoah National Park. "Another in the CCC" was a song created by Whitey during an evening of camp comradery.
